4.30 CHILDREN'S SECTION
Introduction to the festival followed by:
HANDS ON ANIMATION WORKSHOP
Suzanne Cohen, animator, will give a talk suggesting to
children how they can make their own animations, involving audience
participation.
A HISTORY OF ANIMATION – showing classic cartoons through
the years from 1919 onwards
5.30pm - THE
COMPETITIONS BEGIN

-Children's short film competition
-Short films and animations for children by over
14s/adults

voting in each category
PIGEON IMPOSSIBLE – our special short film of the evening
-Announcement of winners and presentation of
awards
6.30pm - TALK
Get an insight into the film and television industry with a
talk by CHARLIE CLAY, series producer, from Offord. This will be followed by a Q&A.
8.00pm – Over 18 programme – details to be finalized. A mix of fiction and documentary.
Some of these films may contain strong language.
