TOBIAS ZALDUA

Tobias
Zaldua's career began with a first degree in film followed by a career editing
commercials and pop videos for top musicians including Diana Ross and Natalie
Imbruglia, and writing and editing short films. He is now a feature film editor
with cinema release credits including
'Joe Strummer: The Future is Unwritten' directed by Julian Temple, shown
at the 1st Offord Festival, 'Glastonbury' about the popular music
festival and 'Madness, The Liberty of
Norton Folgate' recently shown on BBC TV. The festival will include two short
films directed by Tobias, who lives in Offord Darcy.
Charlie Clay is an observational director and series producer. His long list of credits include 'Crises on Jimmy's Farm', 'The Queen's Cavalry'and
'Trawlerman'. He will be giving an
insider's talk during the festival about documentary making which will appeal
to anyone who either has a desire to make documentaries or who just enjoys
watching them.
SUZANNE COHEN
Suzanne
is a film maker who has worked in both animation and live action. Her TV work includes commercials,
title
sequences and short films including 'Ice Cream and Jelly and a Punch in the
Belly', a hand drawn animation made for Channel Four and shown at last year's
festival. She is an experienced workshop
leader having taught at colleges, youth centre and at the BBC. Suzanne has recently completed an MA in
documentary film making at the Royal
Holloway University.
MARCUS
SHEPHERD
Marcus Shepherd
previously directed Film Night with Barry Norman. His feature film script 'A
KILLING IN THE WOODS' won the prestigious 2005 Oscar Moore Screenplay Prize
which is now on the search for additional funding before shooting can begin.
Marcus Shepherd was raised in Cambridgeshire and currently lives in London.
Marcus
showed two comedy shorts at last year's festival, 'EL HOPPO' and 'THE SOFA, and
this year his new short film 'Trigger' will be previewed at our 'suspense'
evening before being entered into Cannes and other international film
festivals.
LUCAS
MARTELL
Lucas is
a freelance animator and VFX artist and lives in the United States. After graduating
with a bachelor's degree in Commercial Music he moved to Texas and began production on
'Pigeon:Impossible' in the summer of 2004.
The film is his first animation and took nearly 5 years to complete.
EMILY
HOWELLS AND ANNE WILKINS
Emily and
Anne are two animation directors who met at Kingston University. Their short films have been nominated for
many awards. They both love to draw.
Anne is currently a flash animator on a forthcoming BBC children's
series at Hullabaloo Studios.
